Those of you who are looking for a wild, yet unique look could fall in love with the many designs of odd and crazy colored eye contacts that are available.  These contacts will give you an unusual but unique look, depending on what you select.  These contacts are used in Hollywood in many movies, especially horror movies to give the killers a strange and sadistic look and vampire movies like the Twilight series.

Crazy eye color contacts won’t correct your vision, as they are used only for styling purposes.  They have zero power and are mainly used to provide entertainment and fun.  Unlike other contact lenses, you don’t need a prescription for these.  All you need to do is visit your local store that sells contact lenses, and select the pair that interest you.  If you suffer any type of irritation or discomfort after you wear them, you shouldn’t hesitate to visit an optician before you suffer any type of permanent damage to your eyes.

For those interested, there many designs of odd and crazy contact lenses to choose from, including zebra style, flags, spirals, animals, vampires, and many other designs.  They come in two main types, monthly and standard.  Monthly are very flexible, and you can use them for a month before you have to change them out.  Standard on the other hand, ensure the best in comfort and can be worn long term for up to 18 months before they need to be replaced.

Even though they don’t require a prescription, you should still take care of your crazy and wild contact lenses.  They need to be cleaned before you use them, and soaked in solution when you take them out.  Just like prescription contact lenses, you should always wash and clean your hands before you handle them.  Although you may not realize it, not taking care of them (although they have zero power) could easily damage the health of your eyes and lead to serious infections.

If you need vision correction but want to wear a pair of crazy contact lenses, you should visit your optician and ask about wild lenses that have power.  There are a few varieties of them, contacts that look crazy and offer you vision correction.  Halloween contacts are the most common and most popular, as they offer you insane looks with corrective power.  Even though they are mainly used during Halloween, you can wear them anytime you want to spook people or just mess with them.

If you are tired of being like everyone else and sticking with traditional contact lenses, or if you just want to mess with your family and friends, crazy and unique eye color contacts are worth the purchase.  They offer you plenty of creative and unique designs that are certain to make people take a second look into your eyes.  Although most have no power, you use them the same way as traditional contact lenses.  They go in your eyes and they are removed the same way, and need to be cleaned when they aren’t in use.

Available at great prices, crazy colored eye contacts are a great investment for anyone who wants to enhance the look of their eyes.  Keep in mind that they can lead to severe problems if they aren’t taken care of, which is why you should always use caution and make sure that you know how to take care of them.  If you aren’t sure about what to get, you can always visit an optician and have your eyes fitted for contact lenses.  Even though you may not need contacts – an optician can tell you which eye color contacts will work with your eyes.

To the guy who said, “So I have to say right off the bat, these things are a little weird and maybe even creepy!, your username is very weird and creepy. You must be a recluse because designer contact lenses are everywhere – you are probably just not very aware of your surroundings – you certainly sound to be that way. Many women and even men are sporting colored contact lenses. And their used on just about any tv show and film that requires special effects.

I really like the colored contacts for everyday use, the violet are really pretty. What would they look like if you have really dark brown eyes, almost black? When the prescription ones first came out I wanted some but they were so thin that the brown of my eyes showed through and you couldn’t tell what color they were. Any idea if these would be the same?

I always want to look unique for Halloween. And your site gives me many ideas on how to reinvent my costume for the Halloween. Thank you!

I looked at the collection of contact lenses and I have to say, they caught my eye (pardon the pun). The colors are vibrant and striking and best of all, affordable. I want a pair to catch people’s attention when I’m out, but I’m worried about whether I will be able to get used to wearing a pair. I have never worn prescription contact lenses (thank god for that), or designer ones, for that matter. By the way, the comments at the bottom of this page look jumbled up. You may want to debug that glitch.

Well, it is that time of year again when parents will be visiting the local Halloween shop for kids costumes and other accessories and supplies. But the adults who will be attending parties also need to accessorize and augment their costumes and I think that special effect contact lenses can add a great finishing touch and detail to your over all look. The best part is after pricing contact lenses for the first time ever, I was surprised to see how low a price they go for. This web page has some links to moderately priced contact lenses, but you better order early to get them delivered on time.

I love the idea of being able to change my eye color just to mess with people. I am a little concerned though about the statement in your article “If you suffer any type of irritation or discomfort after you wear them, you shouldn’t hesitate to visit an optician before you suffer any type of permanent damage to your eyes. What kind of damage could be done. I understand the whole infection thing if you don’t clean them, but permanent damage is kind of scary.

I have seen some interesting variety of contact lenses. It seems contact lenses have become quite a hot commodity and makers of these items have stepped up their production to meet the demand for diverse style and the need to fit every occasion. Now there are a lot of different types of special effects contact lenses for costumes and countless colors and styles to fit every outfit for every occasion. Contact lenses have become as vital a fashion accessory as any jewelry or hand bag.

Sometimes it is not only fashion trends that make fashion or special effect contact lenses popular, but also popular motion pictures. I remember when X-Men hit the theatres. The following Holloween, I noticed females wearing outfits resembling the X-Men character, Storm, and on some of the more elaborate costumes, they went so far as to buy pure white contact lenses. Now that the X-Men series has seen a few sequels, including the prequel, X-Men First Class, maybe the character, Mystique, will see a resurgence in popularity since the release of the first X-Men movie, and females (hopefully ones with fit figures) will go out in latex skin body painting with little to no clothing, and of course, deep blue contact lenses.

Some of the more creatively crazy, cooky contact lenses I have ever seen have smiley faces, stars, vertical slants that resemble cat eyes, skull and cross bones, hearts, all black eye balls which make you look like a demon, and a mostly white eye ball with a very small pupil that makes you look like a member of the undead / vampires. These crazy kinds of contact lenses make me wonder, not necessarily who would wear these looks, but rather, when and where do people wear these types of lenses. I do not even see them at Halloween parties. So I have to wonder do these things sell? They must get purchased because they continue to get manufactured and sold on web sites.

Wow! I was just scanning rather quickly through the collection of contact lenses on this web site and I was stopped dead in my [browser scroller] tracks when I glanced at the BLKWLF Black Wolf Contact Lenses. I just had to stop and take a second and third look. These contact lenses are so very striking and vibrant; they make your eye balls look as if they were illustrations straight out of a graphic novel. Talk about looking like a comic super hero. I want these, not for some Halloween party, but if for nothing else, just to grab people’s attention and for shock value because make no mistake about it, when you see them, they make you do a double take.

I was looking at your blog this morning and I was reviewing the pictures of the girls with different contacts in and they really do look different. They change is immediate and dynamic. From reading this I understand that these have to be taken care of just like regular contacts is that correct? I currently wear glasses just to correct a slight stigmatism do you think I would have a problem wearing these, even if I put my glasses on with them? I think this was a great write up and I appreciate the fact that you put the information about going to the eye doctor in there instead of selling them at no matter the cost.

Let me first be clear that I am intrigued by designer fashion contact lenses. I also like some of the special effects contact lenses. In fact, I would like to collect my favorite colors and be able to use certain colors to compliment my wardrobe. There is only one thing stopping me from buying any. I heard a news report the day before Halloween, in which they were reporting about the sudden popularity of contact lenses for fashion and costume dress up.

This is a very fun and at the same time informative blog. I really like the idea of being able to change my eye color on a whim. It sounds like though that you need to be careful with these just like you would any other contact, correct? You would have the added expense of the solutions and eye drops to keep them clean and everything so they don’t cause problems with your eyes that could be permanently damaging, is that a true statement? So what I am gathering is they can be really fun to mess around with but you have to be very careful with them as well because you don’t want to mess up your eyes. Great blog, you put the information out there and you informed everybody of the precautionary measures as well.

I love wearing hazel colored eye contacts; however, I always wanted to spruce up my eyes every now and then with different color lenses. It is very important that eveyone that wants to wear contact lenses should see an optician. I have never heard about the sell of colored contacts without prescription being illegal. If so, all the companies on-line that sell them would be guilty.
